Happy Thanksgiving

We start this blog with a short statement of who we are and why we're here.

Marjie Cunningham purchased a home in Ravenna Park in 1985 and Glenn Roberts joined her there in 1990. We both have been Realtors since 1985 and eventually met at Lake and Company Real Estate, married and have worked and lived happily together since then.

We generally kept our clients separate for many years but lately have been combining our efforts. In order to reduce our environmental impact we are trying to communicate more efficiently with our neighbors, past clients and friends electronically. This attempt at a blog is aimed at the families who live in the Ravenna Park neighborhood directly north of the park. We hope you find the discussions here informative and useful.

We have looked at many real estate agent blogs and are making an effort to steer this one away from the continuous self-promotion many of them seem to be involved in. You know who we are. If you need help in our area of expertise, we hope you call us.

One way we can contribute to the neighborhood is to provide free advertising for anyone who lives or works here. There is a business card size box in the right hand column of this page and we will post there anyone's business card or small text ad at no charge. The ads will rotate every time the page is refreshed. It will be nice to know something about the people we live near.

Our hopes for articles in the blog will include features on Ravenna Park and how we can be a part of improving and maintaining it, discussions of housing styles found in Ravenna Park, tips on recycling and environmental stewardship, tips on home improvement and repair, and anything else that one of you may suggest.

At the bottom of the page is a table consisting of the area's current listings and properties sold within the past 30 days. When allowed, links will be provided to detailed property information. Some companies and/or agents prefer that other agents don't advertise their listings and we will comply with that wish.
