On Saturday, February 14th from 10:00-12:30 Friends of Ravenna Ravine and Green Seattle welcome volunteers to help with the continuing effort of managing the flora of the park. This work party meets the second Saturday of every month, so please join us anytime.
We've been pulling ivy and blackberries all winter but this month we will have a lot of plants to plant. It is important to get them in as soon as possible. We will be working upstream from the kiosk past the pond. Meet at the Kiosk (near the Tool Box). Ravenna Park lower play field in SE Ravenna Park, North of NE 55th St. and North of the ball field.
You will be most comfortable if you wear layers of clothes, and sturdy
shoes, that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring water. Tools and
gloves will be provided.
