Looking back at the month of March, there is little to report concerning our Ravenna Park real estate activity. The home on Twin Maple Lane received an offer and the property was sold subject to an inspection. But ten days later the property is back on the market for the same price. What happened is between the seller, the would be buyer and their agents. Something wrong that the seller wouldn't fix? Buyer didn't actually qualify? It's always hard to tell.
So, the chart looks just the same.
But otherwise, there is a great profusion of blooming plants in the Ravenna Park neighborhood. That early warm weather has pushed the blossoms a few weeks before their usual time. So much the better. And now it's colder than I'd for one would like to see it, but that helps the blooms last longer. Those warm sunny walks around the neighborhood are but a memory. Perhaps they will return soon.
The Naomi traffic circle project is looking good. There may be a few more chips to spread if anyone can find the time. Be sure and check with Sue Samuelson as any volunteer work is credited by the city at $20/hr. The money will be used to buy the plants and trees that will eventually be planted.
My thanks to all who organized this and have worked through the grant process and to those who know enough about landscape planning to do the selection of plants and design work. Bravo. This is going to be so much better than the bog of ivy that has been there for years.
